SERVICES
Board & Train Programs
Pups 16 weeks & older
Board & Train programs are e-collar based training programs where your pup learns the most demanding skills through routine, training & socialization. Because your pups are immersed in our daily life this style of program offers our most comprehensive learning environment and achieves accelerated results.
Board & Train programs are geared towards busy owners and families who may not have the time to teach their pup a new skill or work through the more challenging behaviors.

If you are able and willing to make subtle changes to your daily interactions with your pet or If you have thirty minutes to dedicate to training every day then a board and train program is perfect for you.

Unlike most board and train programs we include your training tool, daily updates, a two to four hour go home session as well as lifetime support for each student to ensure your pup's newly formed expectations transfers.
Puppy Programs
Pups under 16 weeks
Do you have a brand new puppy? Are you looking to get started on training right away? We offer several options for under vaccinated students including a consultation that teaches you all the critical early life skills like potty training, crate training, socializing and more.

Group Classes
For pups of a vaccinated age
Group classes are our budget friendly training option geared towards teaching pets and parents the fundamentals of dog training. Topics include lure and reward, engagement, training tools, collar cues and more in addition to the core curriculum.
We meet once a week for five weeks. Classes are one hour long and we only teach one new behavior per session giving you time to practice and hone your skill before learning a new behavior.

Even if your pup knows the commands included in the curriculum the group class environment is great for socialization, working around distractions and meeting other local dog owners!
If you have one to three hours a day to dedicate to training on your own then group classes represent an incredible value for you, your pet and even future pets you will share your life with!
Private Lessons
For pups 16 weeks & older
Private lessons are one-on-one sessions with owners and their pup. Lessons typically take place in the pets home or wherever pet friendly training is most beneficial for pets and parents.

Private lessons also offer the flexibility of e-collar training in addition to more traditional training tools.
Do you have an hour a day to dedicate to training? Then private lessons represent an incredible value for you, your pet and even future pets you share you're life with!

Do you have limited availability? Do you need one-on-one direction for specific behaviors or scenarios? Are you an adept owner looking for cost efficient education and structure? Private lessons are our high focus and high demand curriculum track.
MEET OUR TEAM
Bellah & Fernando
Bellah's passion for dog training began ten years ago when she began puppy raising with a Guide Dog program. Raising a puppy consisted of receiving a puppy at eight weeks old and preparing them for a future as a service dog by utilizing obedience training and socializing the puppy for it's first eighteen months of life then the pup returns to the program to complete "formal training" and be placed with a handler free of charge. Bellah has raised eight puppies from start to finish with twelve total that have come in and out of her care to finish their puppy raising stage. This love of obedience training quickly turned into a career, Bellah has worked for corporate, private and a leading nationwide dog training franchise. Bellah loves watching the relationship between pets & parents grow, allowing them freedom that they never had before.

Fernando started his career working with animals eight years ago when he began working as a Kennel Technician. This is where he discovered his passion for working with animals and people. After some time of working as a technician he leveraged his passion to eventually join the County of San Bernardino as an Animal Control Officer and later the Animal Rescue Coordinator. While the work was fulfilling as they prosecuted animal abuse and adopting out that happy go lucky pup that has been waiting for its forever home for months, he felt as though they were putting out fires instead of dealing with the issues owners experienced preemptively and this led his way into dog training. Fernando enjoys connecting with his clients and their pets to help them cultivate a harmonious relationship.
"I wanted to have both of my pugs in my office and to be able to receive clients and them not bark and have good behavior... It's the best decision I could have made as I am now enjoying my dogs as I should be, I advise anyone who is a dog owner to do this program!"

As first time dog owners, my husband and I found it difficult to train our reactive puppy. Our goal was to be able to enjoy taking her out in public to breweries/restaurants, hikes, and on vacation. After putting our puppy through the Outdoor Off Leash program we are able to enjoy the benefits of having a dog! We are thankful for the experience and highly recommend Guiding Pets & Parents to anyone interested in training their dog!

We are so excited to implement all of these new training skills he has learnd, he was already a good dog and now he is a stellar dog!"
